The Bank of Canada, in its continuing efforts to address counterfeiting, has started issuing new bank notes on polymer—a smooth, durable film. Join us on 23 January to learn more about these new bank notes, and measures that you can take to help protect yourself and your business.

Josianne Roy was appointed, in May 2010, to the position of communications analyst in the Currency Department of the Bank of Canada. Josianne holds a joint honours bachelor’s degree in communication and sociology from the University of Ottawa. Josianne promotes the Bank and its currency and delivers its educational products and services to key stakeholders such as law enforcement, retailers, financial institutions, and the general public.
